Editorial Policy

How Best of Italy Trips researches, edits and maintains independent Italy travel guides.

Best of Italy Trips publishes independent travel guides for Italy. Articles are built from destination research, legacy travel notes, restored media and manual editorial review.

Each guide is intended to help readers make practical decisions: what to visit, where to stay, how to move around and when booking ahead is useful. We avoid publishing pages that exist only to hold ads or affiliate links.

Older WordPress content is reviewed during migration to remove broken media, obsolete widgets and links that no longer help readers. When a recommendation includes a commercial partner, the link is marked as sponsored and disclosed to readers.

Editorial updates prioritize accuracy, usefulness and reader experience. If a post cannot be maintained or no longer offers enough context, it should be improved before being promoted in navigation or search-focused pages.

The site also keeps a compact structure on purpose. Destination and category pages should guide readers toward substantial articles, not duplicate the same short summaries across many URLs.
